Freedom To Spend Time With People We Love
by

When we get to the end of or our lives will we care about what’s in the garage, closet, or how many square feet our home is? What will we truly desire? According to Bonnie Ware the author of “Five Regrets of the Dying” , one of the top 5 wishes of dying people was regarding relationships. People had gotten caught up in their lives and had let friendships die, lost contact with loved ones, not worked out a misunderstanding, and now it was too late.
Social media has distracted us
Unfortunately, in our society spending time with others has become more challenging than in any previous generation. We have so many distractions with technology, addicting distractions. Distractions that keep us from connecting with people right in front of us making it difficult for us to connect with friends, including our families.
Kraus a entrepenuer who has partnered with Google says, “We are creating and encouraging a culture of distraction where we are increasingly disconnected from the people and events around us, and increasingly unable to engage in long-form thinking. People now feel anxious when their brains are unstimulated.”
